Default New to the site.

Hey so it seems that everybody else who is new to the site is putting a thread in this section I guess I will as well. I'll tell you guys about myself. My name is Jason Martin. I'm 17 years old. I live in the North Carolina even though I was born in Novosibirsk, Russia. Last year I actually got my GED. Not because I dropped out, but just simply because I wanted to end my schooling early. Even though right now I have 18 credits from a community collage. I speak 3 foreign languages: Russian, French, and Spanish. I'm thinking of enlisting in the Army next year. Which I will ask a question about that a little bit later. Which it's nice to have a forum that I can get some of my answers about the Army from.

Are you interested in enlisting in the Army? You could certainly come in as a linguist. MOS 96B - Intelligence Analyst; MOS 97 L- Translator/Interpreter; or MOS 98XL - Signals/Foreign Language Enlistment Option come to mind.

Your GED with a minimum of 15 college credits is treated as a H.S. diploma equivalent. Al bonuses & benefits that a H.S. recruit gets, you'd get as well.

Welcome to the forums. Sounds like you have a lot going for you and could easily find a spot in the Army.

You got your GED because you dropped out. You're a ****ing loser.

bahahha, JK!!! I did the same thing. I start college on the 12th, majoring in Exceptional Student Education. I'll be learning ASL along the way.

Meanwhile, my moronic peers will be just starting college when I receive my AA.

Yeah I'm with you there. All of my friends are still in the high school I went while I'm just working and going to school. But I'm a full time student but a part time worker. So I have some free time which is nice.
