Default Thank You

When I started reading around the site and forums, I was terrified about enlisting. I thought I couldn't do it, it was too hard. But after talking with many people like MSG Glenn, I feel very good about my decision in becoming a soldier. I'm excited, my family is excited and with the news of my fiancee being pregnant, this means more than ever. Thank you for the support Army.com. Now my only hurdle is my weight. See you in BCT in about 8 months!

Why do you have to wait to go into bct? Is it only because of a weight issue?

Ya. I am about 10% over the BMI limit. So I'm working on that and studying for the ASVAB.

Keep going with the weight loss. Don't get discouraged. You'll hit plateaus where nothing seems to be happening, most people do, but then all of a sudden you'll catch-up.

MSG Glenns advice is first rate, and always helps... good luck to you man, and stick with the training, your BMI will fall soon enough...

Military training is about conditioning so what you can do now will help when you are in...

Good Luck

Exo..
