Default spelling mistakes

When I make mistakes in the title of a thread, I can't correct them, why not?

You've been banned from correcting mistakes. You don't make any. If you spell a word wrong that's the way it'll be spelled for all eternity!

Otherwise that's a darn good question, Tex.

And believe me I appreciate it but unfortunately that is one of the software settings. Too many things link to the threads by various means, ID, Title, original Author, ...

I will look at changing the title for you.

Spelling is one of the reasons I use Firefox. It tells me when I misspell a word by underlining it with a red dotted line.

BTW which thread title did you misspell?

if everyone could edit their posted thread topics it would be near impossible to keep track of the root subjects within the forum. I have done a fair amount of thinking about this subject
since I do feel ashamed everytime I miss pronounce something... even to the point that the meaning it self chances which is not good at all. still.. the search function would be nearly meaningless if the topics could be edited in that regard i do understand the logic behind
the restriction.

Depends on what the words are. Most of the starred words are a result of our censor program.
