Default joinin

ive recently moved to dubai with my mom(biggest mistake in my life) but i want to join the armed forces how do i do that while im here ?

I really don't know. Are you a US citizen? If so then you're eligible. I suggest calling a US consulate or embassy. You'd still have to come back to the States to go through MEPS & certainly to go to BCT & AIT. I doubt if they're wired in to a recruiting computer nor would there be any Recruiters in Dubai. I don't think you'd be able to be recruited from there.

At a guess I'd say you'd have to come over here to even begin the Recruiting process but you'd be able to set the groundwork over there to let you know what the possibilities are.

If you speak any Arabic languages I'm sure you would be welcome with open arms.

yeah im a us citizen i speak farsi,dutch and english i know i have 2 move back eventually but im trying to start the process here thats why but yeah thnx

If you have a embassy in the area, you could try starting there. at the very least they may be able to set you up with a physical to see if you can join physically before going thru the effort of flying back. I dont know if theywould or not but just a thought.

yeah thats my main concern i don't wanna pay for a ticket and then end up hearing that im not qualified but yeah imma call the embassy tomorow lets hope it all works out

This isn't related, but how easy of a jump do you think it would be from Arabic to Farsi? I'm looking to expand my languages.

well yeah it is allot easier because allot of similar words and the alphabet and writing is exactly the same so i would say go for it now u brought this up i think imma do it 2 :P
