Thumbs up New to the forum and Army

Well I just swore in yesterday evening. What a long day! But i got 68W like I wanted and I'll be active duty for 4 years hooah! Anyway i'm shipping out to Benning on the 24th, hope to talk to a few of you before i leave.

Congratulations! That's awesome. My son loved Ft Benning. He is heading back there next week for Pre-Ranger. Be sure you tell your loved ones not to panic if they don't get mail right away and that you will send your address as soon as you have it. Good Luck!!!

Thanks guys. I'm really excited. Ft. Benning sounds great. I hear it's a bit harder than some others but it'll be more worth it.

Congratulations! Now you can wait for the proud day sometime after 68W training & after you're in a unit when they start calling you "Doc".

Benning is pretty nice this time of year. It should start cooling off soon & it won't get too cold before you finish BCT.

Refresh my memory - where is 68W AIT held? Ft. Sam?
