Arrow what are recruit medical requirements?

I am wondering, what are the limits medically for a person that would be getting a physical examination which is required for an Army Recruit?

Since this is an army page I'm hoping that some one will have all the information on it. What I really would like is possibly a list of all the things that would prevent you from getting in. Such as a medical list of things that would keep you from being a recruit.

My reasoning behind this is because I personally am an epileptic, but would like to serve in someway, somehow, and don't want to be restricted. The disorder doesn't affect me in anyway regularly unless I am sleep deprived a lot, or drinking, I am told. I want to know if I am, but can't find anywhere else if I am or not. I have had many people in my family who have served in various wars, and a cousin who has just graduated last weekend to the Marines, and (God help her) will be serving in Iraq eventually.

So if you have the ability too, please help me out.
Thanks a lot,

You could lie about it and get in. But you'd be doing yourself and the Army a great disservice. If sleep deprivation causes your epilepsy to flare up, being a Soldier is the wrong career. You are sleep deprived often in BCT and often in the field. I'm addicted to No-Doz myself and usually try to detox myself on four day weekends just so I can start fresh.
Remember, everything I say is anecdotal, based on my experiences and observations. YMMV, things change, yadda yadda.

Arrow still want to know contents of what will keep you from "service"

Do you or anybody else know the full requirements of it though, or what would keep you out? Because I could do other things besides basic recruit, but I still want to know what they army will keep you out for, and what there requirements are, so I can base what I would change what I might do accordingly. Such as, maybe if there requirments are outstandingly high for a recruit, I may look into what my uncle does, which is something with the business transferring of Army calvery units, or something else.
