Blagojevich (pronounced "bla - goy- avich" is the Democratic Governor of the state of Illinois. It's his duty to appoint the U.S. Senator who replaces the seat the Obama vacated when he was elected President. Well this sleezeball tried to sell the seat to the highest bidder & got caught. He was already under investigation for other things & there are wiretaps up the butt. He was trying to get rich by selling the senate seat.

Now he went on to appoint someone & the new guy has been rejected by the Senate. They don't want to take a chance until the investigation is complete. There's going to be some fancy legal maneuvering on this one! It may go all the way to the Presidency. Typical Illinois Democrat shenanigans.
