my fiance and i are getting married in september, and i heard somewhere that the army will provide a truck or something to get me moved across the country to where he is stationed, or some kind of help in moving me out there. . . is this correct? or what does the military do if anything because i dont know if we will be able to afford a truck cross-country.

I am inlisting as a 68W in the AZ National Guard. I have some issues that after reading some of your posts, you might be able to assist me with. As a 68W, my ultimate goal is to be a medivac medic but I really don't know how to go about doing that. My recruiter put the idea in my head but said that I needed to be something like an infantry medic for a year before I can go to medivac school. I am 31 years old and know to take whatever my recruiter says with a grain of salt. I have also started thinking about going RIP/Airborne, but not sure if it is even a possibility due to me enlisting into the Guard. I'm thinking of re-enlisting and going SF. I have already been in as a Psyoper in a reserve unit and was in Iraq from 05-06. If I re-enlist with a 18X contract, what can i expect going back in? Will I get some training prior to going to SFAS? Will I be attached to a unit during this time. These are some of the questions I have. Can you please elaborate...

Hey MSG,
I noticed you said you were an Instructor at Ft.Sill. I need help. I am on orders to Ft.Sill in October this year and I want to go Instructor more than anything in the world. I am E-6 , with four deployments, 9 years in, and I want to train soldiers. Scary thought is that I am told right now that I am to report to replacement and there, get placed where ever. How can I get out from a bad sceario like being stuck in a line battery, and or how can I get the job I always wanted? Do you know anyone there still?
