Villagers looked up to the sky, shielding their eyes from the sun as Blackhawks circled overhead. They headed in from both countryside and streets as the helicopters landed in a nearby field and troops spilled out their open doors.

Any Soldier Inc. started in August 2003 as a simple family effort to help the soldiers in one Army unit, thus our name. Due to overwhelming requests, on 1 January 2004 the Any SoldierŪ effort was expanded to include any member, of any of the Armed Forces in harms way.

$2,000 Army Recruiting-Referral Bonus Expanded To Army Civilians
Effective March 15, the Referral Bonus Program is expanded to include Department of the Army Civilians. This recruiting incentive currently pays Soldiers and Army retirees $2,000 for referring applicants who enlist in the Regular Component of the Army, Army Reserve, or Army National Guard; complete basic training; and graduate advanced individual training.

At the direction of the Acting Secretary of the Army and Chief of Staff, Army, the Army will open March 19 its newly created Wounded Soldier and Family Hotline. The purpose of the hotline's call center is twofold: to offer wounded and injured Soldiers and family members a way to seek help ....

Army Uses Virtual Tool in Battle
The Humvee rumbles down the narrow desert road. To the left and right there is nothing but an expanse of beige sand, with an occasional palm tree sprinkled here and there. Looking up through the gunner's hatch, the sky is blue and cloudless. It seems like a normal day - until the attack begins.

The Army has started sharing videos and photos of Soldiers in action around the world at popular content-sharing Web sites. YouTube, Flickr and are now showing footage of Soldiers fighting the war on terror, helping to guard the southwestern border, assisting others during natural disasters, partnering with homeland-security first responders and providing humanitarian assistance.
