I am leaving for basic and would like to know if anyone could give me any advice on basic. I am going to Ft. Sill and just would like a heads up from someone who has recently been in basic. Thanks

I've yet to attend basic, but from what I've been told from others, it's best not to be ****y; not that I am implying that you're ****y.... In any event, I wish you the best of luck!

Ft. Sill can either be your worst nightmare (If you dont drink water, and if you dont clean) or a cake walk. Keep your mouth shut, and your head held high no matter what you come acrossed. Keep yourself cool, and dont be too quick to get frustrated, because if you do your best and do what you're told they'll take care of you. If you run acrossed Drill Sgt Curly, dont piss her off - she'll cry.. and then you'll cry, I promise.

Do you honestly expect them to have less than what they do? The United States Army is huge, along with the country. Putting all soldiers in one fort, would limit the training room, IMO.

yeah i know that mate but i read of a guy in the british army who went over there to train
said the fort had almost as much gear as the whole british army and it was huge.............
iv got a buddy of mine who might be cross taining with you guys as well says he`s looking forward to it if it dose happen
