Maybe I should preface this with - my hubby will spend the majority of his time in an office building at a HQ there... he isn't infantry and although he may be put in a situation - for the time being - his function isn't nearly as hazardous as some. I am sure my view is tinted... because everyone I know has been there and come back alive and has served good terms with not a lot of action in their area.

Otherwise the only time I will pee my pants is when I am robbed...or have a nervous breakdown...

We all have a cross to bear and not only that - we signed up KNOWING what we were getting into... does that mean we should be rewarding ourselves for our service compared to any other job we do?

I use to get soldiers like that in boxes of 30 made of plastic... I would line both sides up and then throw marbles at them ..Extremely high tech and no expense spared Then I grew up and got drunk on cider and broke into buildings. These days I just get drunk and talk bollocks!
