We had a couple inches of snow last night, jrj, with more coming Tomorrow. This recent snow was nice & fluffy but tomorrow's snow will be wet & heavy, probably 4" or so.
My first day back to work since 18 Dec. so I might have fun driving home at 2100 Thurs. night. It also turns out that it'll be my last day at work at this site. We knew it was coming but I personally thought we might be kept on until June when the plant totally closes down. I was supposed to work Friday as well but Friday is a different pay period & they said that I should just forget it. Oh well. At least I won't have to worry about driving in bad weather anymore.
Four more days & you're off to see the wizard. Good luck, John!

Snow!!! I love snow!!! We had a little bit the week before Christmas. It's Texas snow though, not the same as Colorado snow. Kind of strange, it snowed at my school, but not my house, which is less than 10 miles away. It's Texas, what can I say, normally we just get ice. Now there's a driving experience for you.
Sorry to hear about your job Glenn. Are you going to look for something else or just stay retired??? My dad is 81 and still goes to work part-time. It keeps him young and my mom sane.

I don't know what I'm going to do. I work for a large security company & it's up to them to find me an assignment.
I have another possibility of working as a campus cop. My good buddy's former chief is starting a new department. Up to this time it's been handled by contract security (not my agency). He knows me & would like me to interview.
I'm still undecided. In the spring & summer I can devote more time to treasure hunting.

I tell ya, Denver is something else... it was -20 degrees F. a couple weeks ago, tomorrow is supposed to be 63 degrees. Awesome!
Looks like my near future will be confined to Ft. Benning and Ft. Bragg though!
