For sure.... IDF might not be as bold this time round, and Hezbollah may have a bit more initial respect for UNIFIL.... Instead of pushing us into offensive combat operations....

exelent video about the leopard 2.. one of the best ive seen so far..
hmh.. about we deploying leopard in the lebanon... well um.
you know that could send a bit of a wrong message.
and then there is the logistics issue.. we dont have anything
we could transport it with. well we could use some of the
EU gear perhaps. but still.. i think the you French can do
better with the heavy gear since you got more experience from it.
and we basicly just got our Leos.. the crew would be too green.

I didnt mean anything by my last comment........its right that experience should be gained before they are put into a possible hot zone.....its the right thing to do.....let the T-72 crews do the hard work untill your fully up to speed with your leos .......its the profestional thing to do........

naa.. i just ment that we do have T-72M1 crews... but who in right mind would
bother to ship those anywhere?.. they cant do good anywhere else but maybe
home.. and thats beginning to be quite contriversial too.
besides some good armor like Leclerc is.. are fine.
T-72M1 would be utterly useless there.. it would be like.. mounting
125mm maingun to some tracked APC... about.
nah.. besides. its one joint battalion with the Irish.
i dont think that a tank would do em too much good anyhows
since the strict rules of engagement and all.
we are going there to build.. not wreck.
