I'm in a criminal justice course and we are discussion about army service men are allowed to carry firearms while on leave for personal time off. Can someone help me on this or point me to a site or someone who could answer this question for me. Thanks...,

To my knowledge officers and MP's are issued personal side arms. I would look under the UCMJ for further reference to this topic

Only if they carry concealed weapons cards according to each state's laws. Not everyone who has an MP MOS can carry a weapon whenever they want.

TO carry concealed, one must have a carry permit for ones state. Other than concealed, a soldier can have weapons of their own for use on ranges or home defense.

I own multiple weapons and I am conceal carry permitted for 35 states.
You cannot carry concealed on post unless you are CID or CAG. (those not on bragg, look it up)
