That inner voice that was telling him he couldn't do it, is something we can all relate to. The mind can be so powerful in situations like that and effect the eventual outcome....Shutting that inner voice up is key to the most important things in life and is the difference between success and failure..

He's missing them because he sawed then off with a black and decker in his shed. Apparently the pain from the frost bite was unbearable.....his doc was annoyed with him because messed the nerve endings up..

A Black and Decker in his shed? ...sounds about right...everyone has been there when the pain is so bad you just want the source of it gone.....I had a dodgy appendix when I was 16..I was waiting on the ward for a day....I got to point where I wanted to do it myself
My old man pulled two of his teeth out in the last months of his life....didnt want the inconvenience of the dentist
