Exclamation medical question

Hi my name is KAY i am a 15. I was talking to an air force recuiter on the interent. I want to know if having a mild case of ashma will affect me being able to enlist into the military. I have always wanted to fly a plane.SO if anyone has knows the answer or know where i may find one i would have much thanks.

Yes, having asthma at all will pretty much exclude you from US military service. My best advice would be for you to see a specialist - find out any ways in which you can improve the strength of your lungs, breathing exercises, running - also, you may want to see an alergist. You are only 15, and you may grow out of it providing you lead a healthy life style (that means no smoking, ever). Once you're 17, get tested for asthma again - take the results to your local recruiter. If all looks good, you will most likely have to have a waiver, but they may let you join.
