Question Question about Deployment

If you are reserve and get deployed to Iraq for a year, how long is it before they can deploy you again? I have heard lots of different things. I have heard they can not deploy you again for 2 years and I have heard they can not deploy you for 3 years. Does anyone know?

Thanks

If you a soldier period, you can deploy again a year after doing a deployment since its based on individual dwell time. The reserves and guard usually deploys ever 2 to 3 years because it takes longer for them to reset since they basically do training part time compared to the regular Army. Gates is going for every 4 year rotations with the war in Iraq winding down. But it all depends on what unit you are going to be with. That is how it is currently.
