the Hornet is a better aircraft altogether....
I believe the F14 Tomcat is only used by the Iranians these days...

The F18 hornet is a good aircraft... the F18a Superhornet by its name is an impressive upgrade too...

Cheers.......is the superhornet a multi-role or just a strike aircraft?

Multirole... its upgrades make it a very effective for fast air support to ground units...

Aww guys.. you make it look good.
Its a fine craft no doubt but it's no match for the Swedish JAS.
against JAS we just have floting weapons platform.
Against most Migs/SUs.. it kicks arse.

Yeah Tor...by all acounts its a fine aircraft...it uses the same radar system as the British Sea Harrier.....i think we have a training version.. heres a link for those intrested

The JAS is a fine aircraft for sure...
