ELS stands for Entry Level Separation. Basically the recruit cannot meet or maintain military standards and hasn't been in long enough to qualify for military benefits. Usually a general discharge.

i thin you should stay! its always fun to mess around with some of the people on here(gladiator LOL)

but is ELS a bad thing? so that means he's not gunna be in the army??

Well, considering it is a general discharge and not a dishonorable discharge, he shouldn't have too much trouble......right?

I'm referring to the economy. Florida is one of the hardest hit in the country. Not many jobs out there and what jobs are available are flooded with applicants and the competition is insane.

Yeah, I am thinking her bf did too. He thinks he was depressed in the Army...wait until he gets home and he has no work.

that was uncalled for...that did not need to be said and was totally rude. if you don't have anything nice to say, then keep it to yourself please. i don't like having to read negative comments. thanks for understanding
