I've got a good feeling about Iraq. It won't happen over night but gradually your boys will start coming home. We'll just have to see how Afghanistan unfolds then .hmmm!

Well, there have been reports of our President bringing our boys home. But we've heard those reports before and it always seems to be the other way around. We actually send more troops over there. With me going thru the process of re-enlisting, it doesn't worry me. However, I'm a firm believer in the statement "you can't help someone who doesnt want to be helped". I'm sure that not all Iraqi's would like to see Americans dead. But there are a lot who do. So honestly I think it's a lost cause.

I hear you. It won't be the Iraq we would like to leave behind but it will be an Iraq capable of adminstering its own security and borders. It will also be an Iraq with western oil deals in place. They've just announced plans in the south of Iraq to start drilling fresh wells etc...so with greater security will come greater wealth and so on....
