Default #6 What calculator should I buy for mechanical engineering?

Hi. Pretty long time I'm looking closely to the www.army.com. I like this forum. I'm not sure is the "Support our Troops" right category , but I really need the answer.

I want to get the best calculator that will still be permitted on exams. I hav heardthat the Ti-89 is often not permitted, is this true? Wat about the new Ti-Nspire. Would it be good for calculus and engineering classes? Would the CAS edition be fine for all possible exams?
