I can understand a war on Al Queda and its infrastructure but a war on a word to me seems to be a flawed concept. Too many variables.

Let's declare war on "evil." We'll let the president decide what evil is.

Ask the Thousands of Israelis who have lost relatives to Hamas and Hezbollah attacks.

Ask the hundreds of thousands who have lost family members to the Janjaweed and SLM members.

Ask the family of William Buckley.

Ask the family of the 300 dead Marines in Beirut.

Ask the Kurdish peoples.

Ask these people about that word.

The Kurds are accused of being terrorists by the Turks.

You could ask the thousands of Palastinians who have lost family to the Israelites.

There are terrorists out there...but not everywhere. Our parents and grandparents remember when communists were everywhere.

How bout' those Russians.

The Kurds were thrown aside when the French and British carved the land.

The Israelis have responded militarily, targeting the point of origin of terror attacks. Is it the best option, I'm not sure, I haven't gotten a chance to study the conflict on the ground as I hope to in two years.

They are everywhere. That's the thing with terrorism, it takes on all creeds alike.

You haven't touched on Darfur I see. Do you really want me to post pictures?

Terror is an action carried out by individuals. You can Eliminate the perpetrators, but you can not eliminate the word. People who revert to terrorism to further a cause or belief must have their fears and arguement defeated. This is not achieved by killing them as the message they are carrying only becomes bolder and wider, thus in effect your war on terror amplies your enemies cause and actions to a wider audience.

The Israeli state was bore through terrorist actions against the British army. But then again they would say they were freedom fighters wouldn't they?

The contradictions and hypocracy of going to war on a word are Nieve at best!
