Default Operational mishaps

A seemingly straight forward landing becomes any but. Pretty dangerous stuff landing on a moving object out at sea

Hard to figure out the cause, freak wind maybe ??

sea-knight is a big chopper.

the first one of the accidents was during an exercise in 1999.
thats a navy tanker its trying to land on when its gear gets
stuck in the metallic safty net. 6 marines and a sailor died
in that incedent.

that other one i dont know about other than what it reads
in the text provaided by the uploader.. seems
like a tail rotor malfunction or something.

I think you may have hit the nail on the head there. It just suddenly swung round bizzarre!
I have no morbid fascination here just admiration for guys working in these demanding situations.

Russian Mi-14. bit like the Sea Hawk. that accident happend during Russian-Japanease exericise.
there were 13 people onboard. one of them died.

that model of Mi can take off and land on water but aparently it suffered
some sort of power loss.
