I believe Ranger CPL Ryan McGhee was the 3rd or 4th soldier that I had posted their falling in combat on this site. Never again.

Remember what happened to Tacky's memorial of his lost buddies in Mogadishu, Somalia (Black hawk Down)? I think that must have been a couple years ago. He had Grimm lock that one, too.

A person could post an innocuous thread about anything light-hearted & nothing will happen - no arguments no irreverence but make a post about a fallen Warrior & it seems all hell breaks loose.

Kinda reminds me of Middle School these days with the dripping hormones, etc.

I dont remember Tackys thread ....I think I was away from the site then... I have heard about it since....It disgusts me(I dont use that term lightly)People claim to be supporters of our Armed Forces and then turn around and disrespect them in the biggest way.

Maybe this thread can be place where our troops and their sacrifices can respected with honesty and integrity.

RIP Royal Marine. The town folk of Wooten Bassett is a prideful people. The way they stop their day and line the streets for the fallen is remarkable. Soldiers' hearses, en route from Lyneham Royal Air Field to Oxford, slowly make their way down main street. The young and old stand by and salute. The church bells rang at 1430 hrs as the following made their way home.

Cpl. Kumar Pun; SGT. Benny Ross; Adrian Sheldon "The Rifles" CPT. Sean Binnie " The Green Jackets"

RIP
