There is a "Dont ask, dont tell" policy, where any gays in the military just keep their mouth shut, and their sexuality to themselves.. Its contrary to good order and descipline, and that is a fact...From serving in very close knit squads, having a gay dude blowing kisses across the billet would not allow us to bond as a fighting unit.... A distracted soldier is a a dead soldier, so the policy is clear, no open homosexuality... Anyway, I dont want a fellow soldier getting the wrong idea when I say "cover my ***, Im going in"....
