According to the new tattoo regulations you should be fine with your tattoo. as long as its not sexist or racist you should be fine. just ask your local recruiter when you go to enlist.

You'll be good to go as long as it isn't lewd or racial. Since it'll be covered up all the time it wouldn't matter. As a Matter of fact the Army has a new liberal policy on tatoos but I'm not exactly sure what it applies to. Just the ones that are visible I'm sure.

RossiMP,
Now, unless you've gone through/graduated from basic and attended/graduated from, and was awarded the MOS of MP, I'd suggest that you remove it from your user name. Esp.
since you have not EARNED the right to be referred to as an MP.
Thank you.

Next it'll be piercings. Somehow I just can't picture a soldier with a nose ring or anything hanging from the lips or tongue. Earrings are bad enough.

Many, many years ago when I was young a guy anyone wearing anything like that would have probably been beaten up on a daily basis or at the very least shunned by his friends. I guess each generation has its own revolting styles. We had Rock & Roll Elvis style & we listened to black music & wore duck's a$$ haircuts. Bad, bad, bad. I've got to wonder how many sermons there were on those subjects!

What is your tribe's reaction to removal of the tattoo?
