Can some one please tell me this is not going to stop me from joining the army , that everything is going to be ok . I am going to school , and taking a math class to improve my math , and now this happens damn!!!! If some here has any info on this issue please tell me it's going to be ok , and i will still be able to get in the army . I'll be waiting for a replay .

I've got the same problem. I picked up some damage through playing soccer and ended up needing an operation on my right knee to correct it. Although the operation fixed the problem and created no weakness on my knee, I was still told that this would definiteley affect my chances of getting into the army by my doctor (a military doctor at Aldershot). That's probably not what you wanted to hear and I hope your injury is different to mine. Even if it isn't i'm no expert on what recruiters look for in a recruit (especially in the US) so go for it anyway.

Yeah I actually spoke another doctore before that told me almost the same . what the doctor said was . If you had a ligament injury then for sure you can forget about the army . I was scared but this one time I went in , and the doctor told me to see a specialist . dude ether way as long as i can run my mile in 8 minutes I should be able to make it we'll see . If you are trying to join the army as well good luck to you , and hopefully some one here gives us some good information that might help us . I'll tell you right now my moral has dropped to nothing . One thing i'll tell you don't ever give up! dont ever give in ! you can conquer you can win . UNITED STATES ARMY HOAH!!!!
