Haha... Main Battle Tank..... good one..... We have the Scorpian Recon tank... its a useless piece of ****..... Brits saw us coming in the Early 80s on that one.... The mohawk AFVs are the main AFV we have... No tanks to speak off... Mohawk is ideal for our Anti Parimilitary Ops.... we dont have any enemies with Tanks... only ones with handhelds...... We are more geared to fighting Parimilitaries...

interesting figures i most say.

anyhows.. back to the vids.

as this has been posted to the youtube.. i might aswell post it here..

Finnish Assault Rifle in combat - video..
now this is something we see in our training period... so its not a commercial or such.
so its in a sence just dramatized educational vid to demonstrate
the action with our AR.

the speech is in finnish and is mostly just commands/coordinating...
you know "changin clip! cover me!" and that usuall fuzz.

Haha....I can see why its in your Training module... thats like "how not to do a section attack illustrated"..... it looks like a poor attempt at a skirmish line going forward in wooded area??... Anyway, good look with it man... when ur doing to war, let me know so I can call in sick..

p.s. the ARs are cool!!... I like those old reliables...

umm. well.. the "wooded area" is basicly what we have here in my habitat.

hell i just remembered that i should be like saluting you and all that fuzz.
being nothin more than mere grunt. but anyhows..
section cut.. yes... well umm.. im not exactly all upons what your saying..
but what i can say is this.. the vid is made to show the conscripts
the use of the fire-arm in combat situation.. purely visual to memorize.
the vid has nothing to do with our tactics or training exersices. it would be just plain stupid
to leak those things out.
i think i said "dramatized".. no? .. that basicly means "propaganda",, nothing more.

the "old" reliables.. yes. in our conditions. which are quite like in the movie.. (add water/snow and -30celsius)

Now now... Jealousy gets you nowhere... I know you wanted tobe a ground pounder too, but thats no reason to be pissy about some constructive critisizm of the propaganda film... Fair point on real tactical assaults... but I think the movie buffs would want to something thats a bit realistic...

Styer has a freezing point around that I think... but theres special oil to give it durability in those conditions.... I dont think however, it would last the distance in firing mode to your models..... cordite comprimises gun oil properties making freeze jams more likely...

im not Jelous nor pissed about anything

constructive chritisizm is always good.. im just practicly laughin
because of the general mindset we had about thease vids in the
force. with saluting i merely ment rank and experience
about real situations.
"propaganda" is a bit harsh word for the film tough. its just something
to fill the class time.
what comes to the weather.. iv been out at -40c.. which wasn't very nice.

Thats good to hear Tman.. and yes, -40c is bitter of bitter cold... Our climate is much more moderate, so the temp issues are never a real problem.... rain is though... it can make a badly dug op deadly in hours...

one should master he's surroundings.. the surroundings we have in winters,
are interesting indeed. the winterwar was waged partly in -50c surroundings.
and they say that some how got shot, froze to the position they were in
when they were hit. it was a hell i gather. anyhows.. that was part of the
puzzle which is the fact that we alone stopped invasion force three times
the size of normandy.
