Are you a serving member of the IDF? If so, then you might have an option as US and Israel have a transfer pact for joining each others army. Tacky will know more, but if you wanna take a shot at US SF, you need to be a US Citizan... not sure if its only a US citizan or to have citizanship, but I think its the former...

He cannot get the needed security clearance without citizenship.

The US and Israel have a transfer pact between their military? Might as well, the US military is an unofficial branch of Israel anyways!

He would be eligible for a 'confidential' clearance; and if needed an 'interim secret' clearance. They make ask him some 'Mossad-related' questions though.

Right... that would clear him for SF operations? I thought they have to renounce their original citizanship, have US citizanship only, and be subject to detailed background screening.... suppose the Mossad Related questions would come in there... Family and Friends all get interviewed in most processes like this around the world cos of the accidential disclosure risk for sensitive positions within the military... Given the level of Cooperation between Israel and US, I would not suprise me that the pact would loosen up on those rules due to accessibility to background intel on a person... I might be wrong, but thats the way I would see it...

I know he would not be eligible for EOD, Psyops, or CID. I thought about SF, and I am not sure. I emailed an SF recruiter to ask though. I will let you know what I find out.
