Cool time off for wedding

hi im new to the site and i had a question........my fiance is in georgia and i was wondering if the army gives time off for a wedding.

The only way he can get time off is if he takes leave providing he has enough leave time on the books. A soldier doesn't need an excuse to take leave. Leave is granted at the commander's discretion. Obviously if the unit has a big training cycle where everyone has to attend then leave won't be granted. The only leave that would be granted at any time is emergency leave. Weddings don't qualify for that.

Leave is accrued at 2 1/2 days per month. 12 months = 30 days.

I suggest he put in for leave ASAP & if it's approved that's the time to make wedding plans.
