I am sure there are chats, I just don't belong to any of them. FRG stands for Family Readiness Group. They are made up of mostly spouses. They do all they can to help keep the home fires burning while the soldiers are away. I would check into the website for my son's unit once a week or so. There was a news wire with news from base about the soldiers from that base. There were constant updates as they were getting ready to come home. Most of what they do is on base, but I found the website another great way to stay connected. I even found my son's picture in one of the news articles. That was cool
