Default FT Carson

I am curious as what is going to happen at Carson in the next couple of months. 4ID and 2ID are both located at Carson and 4th is on its way back from their second tour in Iraq. 2nd has done all their pre-deployment training and is ready to go very soon. I am just trying to get some feedback on the deployment situation. Would a new soldier right out of training be put in a unit that is ready to deploy in the next couple of weeks? How would he get his training done so he can feal like he know exactly what he is doing? any info on this situation at Carson would be appreciated.

Nobody is going to get to a unit and be deployed within a couple of weeks the Army is very retarded sometimes but not in a situcation like this I got some friends at Carson and there is no way something like that would happen

Default deployment

Yes you could be deployed at anytime once you report to your unit. I am prior navy, and swithched over to the army. I just finished my mos training at fort lorneard wood, Mo and reported to fort Polk, La and am being deployed this summer.

Gentlemen, although I am not a member of the US Army, may I point out the dangers of disclosing even rough times for deployments and units (as you can be tracked to a location of origin). I dont mean to preach, but this is juicy stuff for your enemies, and should be treated with care....

Good luck to you and your brother soldiers...

Ok ill say this nice and easy for ya all.

After Basic and AIT trainings are complete you go out and do your job, you dont go sit at a base sucking down water. You will be deployed where they need you when they need you.

Have a nice day.
