I'm a new member and I am really nervous because my 18 year old son is leaving for basic in one month. Although I am proud of him I worry because this the first time he will ever be away from home. My father and brother were both in the military, but I was so young then that I don't remember what I felt about it when they were gone. IU hope he will be okay so far from home and his family.
