It would be between Napolean and Adolf Hitler. They both conqured Europe and had military genius in their tactics......Also they both unified their country like no other time. Stalin is also agreat leader followed by Mao, Pol pot had his good days too...But it would have to be Napolean for the simple fact that he wasn't a pyschopathic, he was just small and little men are very agreessive not pyschotics...

Let me know your considered opinion on this matter it is most important

Au revoir!

Hitler was a tactical buffon and a madman... hes generals are where the Nazi tactical genious came from... Napoleon was also a touched by the hand of madness and arrogance, but did have tactical ability and a mastary of tactical battlefield management, he used all his resources to great effect... However, both were offensive Military Leaders, and both extremely imbalanced and arrogant, which ultimately lead to their demise... and that of their Armies...

I would put my money on King Leonitis of Ancient Sparta. His courage in the defensive Battle of Termopolye and the considered tactical stand he made to allow the rest of the citi states of Greece to mobilize lead to the defence and growth of Democracy. I dont think he thought his actions would have such profound world events 3000 years later, but I do think he was a honourable warrior and leader of men who knew that their sacrafice would allow his fellow Greeks to mobilize and defend his way of life.... What stood after Xercisis's retreat was a free Greece.... and a sense of Nationhood for the first time in its history... His 300 along with the 5000 Free Greeks stood against a Giant, and their story is still being told today!!!... Who can top that?...

Default Michael Collins

Michael Collins, a man's man and true to his cause. A pity he didn't slot Éamon de Valera before he was slotted....
