Default Fort Sill
Hey guys im gonna do my basic at Fort Sill what is it like there? I am going in July, what should I expect?

Cool I went there
Its about 100 degrees every day. Its a tough base, but the training is good. Never eat in the fast line its not worth it in the long run. Just do as your told and dont piss of the leadership.

My husband really likes it there and he is a great person now....he is very hard headed and hard to please so if he likes it trust me u will too...

hi, im going to fort sill the first of august (-06) im looking fwd to it, i cant wait .. my mos is cannon crewmember, anyone has any experience in that job?

exorcist, maybe i will see you there. I am going july 18th as a cannon crewmember. wow. maybe reception will be long or something?

Darren, I will see you there. I am leaving on July 18th as well for 13B. I hope reception isn't that long though. Only part of BCT that I am not looking foward to. Also I am glad that it will only be 14 weeks "TOTAL" and not 9 weeks BCT and 14 weeks of AIT like it says on the Go Army website.
